was playing Gruene Hall, Taylor and Molly were talking to him and I told him that they were going to do several of his songs at the Woodzie and he was very interested. He wanted to know which ones; we'll have to send him a recording.

The kids sure sounded great last night!
no, he had a big long line of people waiting for autographs so there was no time to try to explain it to him. I expected he'd be standing there looking lonesome like I've seen him before. I could tell he was a little shocked himself to have attracted that many people to Gruene Hall. We've seen him there maybe 4 times over the last couple of years and it's never been close to standing room only. You saw it, there were people standing wall to wall. Biggest turnout I've ever seen there for one of the Sunday afternoon shows.
