last year we had awesome bluebonnets, Woodzie 2008 may be the year of the incredible cactus flower

The drought 86ed a lot of the wildflowers but the cactus loved it. I'm hoping a lot of these prickly pear blooms will open by the woodzie, we could have an incredible sea of them. They're going to open, it's just a matter of the timing whether they all open by the 3rd. Only a very few have opened yet so I don't have a good photo, just this one I took early today, but I'll take some. There are a thousand buds ready to explode.
